"This was a performance of Dolly which fairly flew along. Dialogue was snappy, especially early on. The production looked good both scenically and through costume. Dolly was not the typical Streisand copy and benefitted from it. Scene changes were slick and clever especially in to the hat shop.
The other thing that was heartening was to see so many new and particularly younger faces on stage for KVODS.
Many of these new faces are coming through the ranks from Young KVODS – excellent.
There were some lovely
cameos amongst the ensemble and indeed some lovely voices coming through to back up
your principals. A really good evening which marks another KVODS success."
